Playful Prosperity

Did you know that playfulness can make you more prosperous?  Most of us tend to equate prosperity with a lot of hard work (or sheer luck!), but prosperity is often a product of a lighter and happier mind-set.

Think about the last time you felt really great.  Maybe you woke up in a good mood, had a lot of energy and you went about your daily activities in high spirits.  Most likely, good things happened to you on that day (and even beyond that day).  You probably attracted everything from likeminded people to great opportunities – or even money from unexpected sources!

Believe it or not, these occurrences are not flukes!  A playful mind-set triggers happy emotions and happy emotions emit a high frequency of vibration to the universe.  As you probably know, the universe uses that “signal” to deliver corresponding circumstances into your life.  The more you “play” the more great things will be delivered to you!

Here are some simple pointers about using a playful mind-set to attract greater prosperity into your life:

• Lighten up.  Adults are so darn serious much of the time!  It’s true that we have a lot of big responsibilities – and it’s definitely not easy to stay lighthearted when we’re carrying heavy burdens – but no one says we have to let them weigh on our minds and moods all the time.  It’s okay to set them down for awhile!  Children are naturals at this.  No matter what else is going on in their lives, they usually have no trouble setting it aside to make time for fun and laughter.  Learn to follow that example more often and you’ll see great things happening in your own life.

• Make your existing duties more fun.  Conjure up a mental picture of yourself at work or doing chores around the house.  Are you smiling in this vision?  Are you laughing?  Are you having fun with it or just moving along on autopilot?  Warning:  when you operate on autopilot, you are not emitting the type of energy that attracts prosperity!  That doesn’t mean you have to stand on your head while vacuuming or juggle flaming torches while conducting a business meeting – but at least try to inject a little more passion and fun into everything you do.  Sometimes just a tiny mental shift can make all the difference.

• Get creative.  It’s really hard to feel bored or stressed when you’re covered in paint, sinking your hands into clay or composing a musical masterpiece!  Your creative inspiration comes straight from your spiritual center – which is the same place your “vibrations” come from too.  When you’re playing with creative activities you are automatically releasing super-beneficial signals to the universe.  So go ahead, reconnect with the brilliant artist within you!

There you have it, three easy ways to use playfulness to attract prosperity.  By the way, these insights are not new.

Consider this old proverb that sums it up beautifully:  “When a man is gloomy, everything seems to go wrong; when he is cheerful, everything seems right!”  (Proverbs 15:15)

Learn to use your cheerful, playful mood consciously and watch how it changes everything almost immediately.  Ironically, even the things that don’t change right away will seem to bother you less because you’ll be in such a good mood you won’t focus so strongly on them.
